grey box to high performing
The brief required converting a grey box environment into a high-performing, people-centred workspace, while integrating the new office with an existing space on the same floor. The scope included a full upgrade of the existing work café, incorporating new finishes, revised layouts, and ceiling interventions. The project required tight coordination, a fast-tracked programme, and careful execution within a live working environment.
playful DETAILs
The design is anchored by Electrum’s signature indigo blue, layered with accents of yellow, orange, and soft neutrals. Colour blocking defines zones throughout the space, while warm timber elements and planting soften the overall palette.
At the entrance, a curved slatted timber reception desk is complemented by layered lighting, planters, and modular seating. An exposed services ceiling forms the industrial backdrop, balanced by softer tactile layers including timber finishes and upholstered elements.
The reimagined work café, complete with varied seating and a ping pong table, serves as a central hub for informal interaction. Open plan workstations, semi-private offices, and meeting rooms support a range of working styles.
