The co-working pioneer company WeWork entered the South African market in 2019 with much pomp and circumstance.
Collaborating with Paragon, the design team at Trend Group pushed to deliver an office space that surpassed global design standards and was a milestone for flexible work environments.
WeWork’s new function area was set up on Strand Street, a community hub central to the energy and imagination driving South Africa’s emerging work culture. With the iconic Table Mountain overlooking, these offices are in close proximity to a diverse entertainment, dining scene and growing business sector.
Intelligent Design for Creatives
This WeWork facility spans four floors in a striking nine-story building, featuring art-filled lounges, comfortable conference rooms, and focused private offices. An intelligently designed brainstorming room provides the ideal backdrop for client meetings.
The on-site events space fosters important professional connections and hosts networking events. The spacious and inviting environment has an industrial design aesthetic with strong African cultural influences. Bright, clean lines make for a light-hearted atmosphere that encourage camaraderie and teamwork among its occupants.
