Corporate Interiors Scope
Rubicon Group, a leader in sustainable technology, lighting and building automation, appointed Trend Group to deliver a new flagship workplace within an existing warehouse and showroom environment. The scope included the design of offices for 120 employees, supplementary warehouse administration areas, dedicated workshop stations and an advanced showroom centred on user experience and product interaction.
A Collaborative Workspace
The elongated floor plate informed a clear and functional layout, positioning focused work areas along the perimeter and locating collaborative spaces more centrally to strengthen interaction and team connection. The creative direction drew from Rubicon’s logo and its futuristic curved forms, which were translated into a contemporary workplace defined by movement, integrated technology and a strong sense of connectivity.
A palette aligned to the corporate identity introduced restrained base tones with selective brighter accents to highlight key features. Productivity zones are expressed through calming greys and timber finishes, while collaboration areas are distinguished by more vibrant detailing. The Central Hub was conceived as a flexible environment that encourages creativity and engagement.
Eco-conscious Design
The completed flagship office and showroom reflect Rubicon’s identity through confident geometry and a cohesive spatial language. Curved forms continue into the showroom environment, where archways and circular planning create an immersive journey across product displays, supported by a dedicated digital information area showcasing Rubicon’s systems and innovation.
Through the integration of sustainable technologies, biophilic elements and carefully considered material choices, Trend Group delivered a workplace that balances performance, collaboration and environmental responsibility. The result is a forward looking environment that supports productivity while reinforcing Rubicon’s long term vision.
