Trend Group designed and built a contemporary office environment for Search Projects that supports the needs of their team. The project reflects Trend Group’s approach to workplace design, combining visual appeal with practical performance to create a space that works effectively for everyday operations.
The brief required a workspace that could support advanced IT infrastructure while encouraging collaboration between teams. Through a considered design approach, the office was transformed into a dynamic and engaging environment that enables productivity, connection, and seamless technology integration.
Considered Materials
The design introduces strong geometric forms including angled walls and Crittall style shopfronts, establishing a professional setting that supports both productivity and collaboration. Material selection plays a key role in defining the character of the space. Dark oak timber, concrete, black steel, touches of brass, and different shades of leather are combined with greenery to create a warm and welcoming environment that brings a sense of natural balance into the workplace.
Acoustic performance was carefully considered throughout the design. Sound dampening features and suspended acoustic panels were integrated across open areas to support focus and clear communication. Layered lighting further enhances the environment, combining task lighting, ambient lighting, and feature lighting that can be adjusted for different spaces and activities. A neutral colour palette and exposed materials add depth and texture, resulting in a workspace that feels balanced while encouraging creativity and well being.
