The Oxfam project involved the development of a 750 sqm office space. The initiative aimed to accommodate Oxfam’s expansion by creating a modern building that featured a multifunctional training centre capable of hosting various events. By addressing the need for additional meeting rooms, Trend Group secured the project through a competitive tender, outpacing five other bidders based on cost-effectiveness.

Trend Group was responsible for the design, implementation, project management, and liaising with the landlord. The finishes were budget-friendly and practical, incorporating vinyl, Berber point, and mela wood joinery. Key design considerations included enhancing acoustics and updating the lighting to ensure a functional workspace, highlighted by a spacious training room connected to a canteen for versatile use. Throughout the project, the Trend team navigated creative challenges in value engineering, successfully meeting the client’s expectations while maintaining project timelines. Adhering to strict health and safety protocols, the initiative concluded with Oxfam expressing satisfaction and returning to Trend for additional design enhancements.
