Trend Group was appointed to design Okja’s flagship retail environment, working alongside renowned designer Marco Simal. The scope of the project incorporated a café and a forward thinking testing kitchen, requiring a cohesive space that could seamlessly integrate hospitality and product innovation.
The brief called for an environment that expressed the character of Okja’s creamy oat milk while confidently communicating its distinctive brand identity. The design needed to translate the brand’s personality into a physical setting that felt immersive, authentic and aligned with Okja’s vision for its flagship presence.
Efficient Delivery
Our design approach focused on clarity and restraint, enhanced by carefully considered vibrant elements that bring energy to the space. An open layout was introduced to encourage natural movement and exploration, while confident colour choices and expressive detailing added warmth and reinforced the strength of the brand identity, resulting in a welcoming and engaging environment.
As a heritage site, the project came with its own set of challenges. After resolving architectural concerns that temporarily delayed progress, the team rapidly mobilised to deliver the build within a demanding two month programme. Through efficient planning and disciplined execution, the project was completed on schedule without sacrificing quality.
