BRAND DESIGN WITH LOCAL INFLUENCES
For this exciting workplace project, Trend Group worked together with Profica Design. The brief was to design a workspace that seamlessly integrated with Dell’s global aesthetic; however, it also needed to incorporate subtle yet stylish African influences to best reflect the office’s location. Sustainability was also a paramount concern for the client.
BALANCING BRAND WITH LOCAL ACCENTS
Warm timber finishes and pops of blue were used to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere, while aligning with Dell’s corporate identity. Evoking the local context in an elegant and understated manner, African prints and subtle design accents were thoughtfully incorporated. Acoustic panels ensured privacy in designated areas around the office, with a special focus on meeting rooms to allow for confidential discussions. Booth seating and breakout areas were designed to cater to individual work styles and collaborative needs.
Ongoing communication with the off-site client – which included live progress photos compared against design renders for a clear visual representation – ensured they stayed informed throughout the process.

A SATISFIED CLIENT
Tracking and reporting on waste materials showed an achievement of 75% diversion rate from landfills. Completed ahead of schedule, the client expressed high satisfaction with the Dell office fit out project execution. Ensuring a smooth transition for their team, Trend Group also provided comprehensive support to the client with the relocation process, including furniture installation, during the final stages. Technical assistance and training were also provided during the client’s “go live” period, demonstrating our after-sales service. This project exemplifies Trend Group’s expertise in collaborative design, meticulous project management, and commitment to client delivery.
