Trend Group successfully delivered Booking.com’s South African office in Katherine and West, Sandton. Working alongside Boogertman & Partners, this project showcases a shared commitment to designing workspaces that inspire creativity, encourage collaboration, and support innovative ways of working.
The office incorporates playful and distinctive features, including informal meeting rooms inspired by the iconic local taxi. Thoughtfully designed green areas provide employees with calm spots to unwind, enhancing well-being in the bustling urban setting.
Cultural Design, Local Interiors
The interior design reflects the vibrant essence of South Africa by combining a variety of colours, textures, and patterns. This creates a welcoming environment that connects with the country’s diverse heritage and gives employees a true sense of belonging within their workspace.
Boogertman & Partners aimed to capture the lively spirit of Johannesburg, often called the “city of gold”. By incorporating local arts and crafts, the office becomes a display of cultural details, including beaded wildlife lighting and custom wire chairs, highlighting the city’s distinctive character.
