Trend Group was excited to handle the build component of Barclays’ office fit-out in Sandton, collaborating closely with Mace Projects and Design Dex. The goal was to deliver a modern workspace that embodies Barclays’ respected reputation while fostering an inspiring environment for their team.
A Chic and Functional Workspace
The design embraced a sleek, sophisticated aesthetic with industrial touches like exposed ceilings. A mix of floor finishes complemented timber cladding and ceiling details, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. Most materials were locally sourced.
Specialised features, including access flooring, maximised flexibility and functionality, while careful IT installation ensured seamless integration in a compact space. A standout aspect of the project was the custom epoxy floor, layered and scarified for unique colour and texture, added a striking, durable focal point to the office.
